To delete your Text Reader Speech to Text / Speaktor account, please follow these steps after logging in:
Go to the settings page by clicking on the icon in the top right corner of the dashboard.
Click on the "Delete Account" tab at the bottom of the settings page.
In the confirmation dialog, click the delete button to confirm your account deletion.
Log in to your Text Reader Speech to Text / Speaktor account.
Go to the Settings page by clicking on the settings icon in the top-right corner of your dashboard.
Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page and click on the “Delete Account” tab.
In the confirmation dialog, click “Delete” to finalize the account deletion.
Outside-App Deletion Option
Per Google Play requirements, we offer an account deletion pathway outside of the app. If you no longer have the app installed, you can still delete your account by following these steps:
Visit Speaktor’s Webapp
Step 1: Sign in at speaktor.com
Step 2: Go to app.speaktor.com/account
Step 3: Click on the “Delete Account” button to permanently remove your account.
Please note that data deletion cannot be undone, and all data in your account will be permanently deleted.
Immediate Data Removal
Upon confirming deletion, all personal and sensitive user data stored under your Speaktor account (including profile information, files, folders, and workspaces) will be permanently removed from our servers. This process is irreversible.
Anonymized Data
In line with Google Play policies, certain data may be retained in anonymized form for legitimate business purposes such as aggregated analytics and crash reports. This anonymized data cannot be used to identify you personally. Examples include:
Crash reports
Registration date
Account deletion date
Limited Data Retention
If Speaktor is obligated to retain some data for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes, we will do so in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Any retained data will be limited, secured, and used only for the stated purpose.
No Data Resale
We do not sell your personal or sensitive data to third parties.
Secure Transmission & Storage
Speaktor uses industry-standard encryption to transmit and store your data securely.
User Consent
If our platform accesses or collects additional personal and sensitive data beyond the data required for Speaktor’s core functionality, we will provide a prominent disclosure and obtain your explicit consent before accessing it.

No Undo: Once the account deletion process is complete, your data cannot be restored.
Account vs. App Deletion: Uninstalling the Speaktor app from your device does not delete your Speaktor account or data. Please follow the Delete Account procedure within the app or through our website.
